BLUEBERRY FRENCH TOAST

• Brioche french toast, thick-cut and custard-soaked.
• Blueberry compote, cooked down till jammy.
• Crème diplomate, vanilla-flecked and spooned cold.
• Fresh blueberries and strawberries, lemon zest over the top.

It's a brunch dish built for the long table — the kind of thing you order "to share" and then quietly guard. The crème diplomate is lighter than cream, the compote tart enough to cut the butter, and the lemon zest keeps the whole plate from tipping into dessert.
