Daily sales — a quick read on how the day is going

A one-tap view of how the day is going, opened right from the till. It shows this outlet’s sales for a single day — today by default, or any day you pick — without leaving the register.

The rule

It’s a read-only snapshot of one outlet, one day. Nothing here changes a bill, and there are no monthly figures.

How it works

In the POS terminal’s top bar, tap Daily sales. You’ll see a row of cards — Sales, Receipts, Voids, Pax (covers), Avg / receipt, and Avg / pax — an Order types breakdown (dine-in, takeaway, delivery…) showing how many orders and how much money each brought in, and a Sales by hour chart. For example, a ฿1,000 lunch order shows up in the noon bar. Use the ◀ ▶ arrows or the date box to step back to any past day, and Back to return to the till.

When you’re looking at today, a Right now strip sits at the top with the live floor state: open tables, orders in progress (sent to the kitchen but not yet paid — with the total baht value of those orders underneath, so you can see how much money is out on the floor), open orders, and any open deliveries. It updates on its own, and disappears when you page back to a past day.

Good to know

  • Shows this outlet only — the venue this till belongs to, not your other branches.
  • Anyone working the till can open it; kitchen- or floor-only staff don’t see the button.
  • Pax and Avg / pax count dine-in covers, and only when the cashier enters the number of guests on the order — so they’re as accurate as that habit.
  • Voids counts the items voided that day.
  • The Right now strip only shows for today — past days are history, so there’s nothing live to show.
  • Read-only and per day — there are no weekly or monthly totals here.
  • Cashier shift — the per-shift till totals and end-of-shift cash count for one cashier.
  • POS terminal — the register this snapshot opens from.
