Finishing a video

A raw clip is not a post. Finish this video takes a clip or a photo you already have and adds your venue name, the dish, the price, a call to action and captions — then gives you a video you can publish straight to Instagram.

The rule

Finishing a video is free. It runs on your own computer, so it costs no credits — however many times you redo it.

How it works

  1. In Growth → Composer, pick a dish and make a photo or a video as usual.
  2. Press Finish this video.
  3. The preview on the left is the finished video, frame for frame — not a rough idea of it.
  4. Change the Shape, Dish name, One line about it, Price and Call to action. The preview updates as you type.
  5. Press Render video. It takes a few seconds, then saves to your Library and attaches to your post.

Pick Reel for Instagram Reels and Stories, Square for the feed, Wide for your website. The same settings produce all three — you do not have to start again.

Good to know

  • The video uses your own brand colour and logo from your site settings. A very dark brand colour is lightened just enough to stay readable on the video’s dark background, and the video tells you when that happens.
  • It needs a photo or a video first. There is nothing to finish on an empty post.
  • Keep the tab open while it renders. It is your computer doing the work, so a faster computer is a faster render.
  • Instagram Stories do not show your caption to viewers, which is why captions are burned onto the video itself.
  • Every finished video is kept in your Library, so you can reuse it later without redoing anything.
  • Prices are text — type them exactly as you want them seen, currency and all.
