Add a picture or video to your page

Every place on your home page that takes a picture has buttons. You choose where the picture comes from.

The rule

Your page gets its own copy. You can delete the original. Your page stays the same.

How it works

  1. Open Website → Page builder, then open a block.
  2. Next to the picture, press one of the buttons:
    • Upload a file takes a photo or video from your phone or computer. You can also drop a file on the picture.
    • From Library shows the photos and videos you made or saved before.
    • From your menu shows the photos and videos of your dishes. Type in Find a dish to find one fast, for example “carbonara”.
    • Instagram & Google shows the photos your AI team looked at when it built your first website. You see this button only when you have these photos.
  3. Press the picture you want. You see it in the block.
  4. Press Save block. Now your visitors see it.

Change the picture of a slide

You do not need a new slide to change a picture.

  • In a Carousel, press Edit on the slide, or press its picture. Use the buttons there. The caption and the place of the slide stay the same.
  • In a slideshow header, press Change next to the slide.
  • In a Photo wall, press the picture.

Good to know

  • In a Carousel or a Photo wall, you can pick many pictures at one time. The window tells you how many more fit.
  • Some places take only a picture. Some take only a video. The window shows only what fits there.
  • Pictures can be up to about 10 MB. Videos must be MP4 or WebM, up to 25 MB.
  • In Instagram & Google, On your page marks a photo your website uses now. A face shows marks a photo with a person’s face. Ask that person first, or pick another photo.
  • Your page does not change until you press Save block.
