Featured menu items

Put your best dishes on your home page. You pick each dish. You pick the shape of the cards.

The rule

The card on your home page shows the same picture as the card on your menu. If the menu card plays a video, the home page card plays it too.

How it works

  1. Open Website → Page builder.
  2. Open the Featured menu items block, or press + Add another block to add one.
  3. Under Photo shape, pick a shape: Bottle, Tall, Square or Wide. Default keeps the shape you had before.
  4. Press Pick next to a dish to add it. Drag the dishes into the order you want.
  5. Save.

A dish plays a video when you put the star on the video in its Studio card. The video has no sound. It plays when a guest can see the card.

Good to know

  • Every card in the block has the same shape. A tall phone video looks best in Tall or Bottle.
  • You can pick up to 12 dishes.
  • A hidden dish is not on your home page. In the list it says Hidden. A line under it tells you why. The dish is hidden, or its menu section is hidden.
  • The video does not play for a guest who turns off motion on the phone. The guest sees the first picture of the video.
